Team Rafay strives every day to do things smarter, better, and more efficiently. And we are always looking for ways to innovate. We’ve built some amazing technology that we are eager to share with the broader community, and are looking forward to collaborating with like-minded developers to further the community’s goal of ubiquitous cloud-native infrastructure.

We are pleased to announce that Paralus is now a sandbox project within the CNCF! Paralus is a free, open-source tool that enables controlled, audited access to Kubernetes infrastructure. It comes with just-in-time service account creation and user-level credential management that integrates with your RBAC and SSO. 

Rafay’s open culture is evident not just in the company’s plans to open-source our core services, but also in the engineering team’s participation in, and contribution to, numerous open-source projects over the past many years. We have even made several recipes to make 3rd-party packages work with Kubernetes available on the Internet through our documentation site.

Great ideas can originate from anywhere. Our core services have benefited from the deep engagement we’ve had with our enterprise customers. By open-sourcing these services, we are looking forward to engaging with, and getting feedback from, the entire community. Together, we can speed up the dream of making cloud-native infrastructure truly ubiquitous.
