Help Customers Modernize with Centralized Kubernetes Services

Modern telcos and MSPs choose Rafay to automate Kubernetes for themselves and their customers

“The big draw was that you could centralize the deployment and lifecycle management of the Kubernetes clusters, [and] the applications as well.”

Verizon Delivers a Managed Kubernetes-Powered PaaS for its Customers Worldwide

Verizon provides services for their business and government clients, which includes over 500,000 network, hosting and security devices across 4,000 managed networks in 150 countries. They wanted to offer a managed service to help their customers deploy and operate containerized applications across data centers, in the cloud and at the edge. The complexity and overhead required to manage the lifecycle of these edge applications pushed Verizon to leverage Kubernetes technology.

Verizon wanted to rapidly create a platform-as-a-service (PaaS) offering with an automation framework for managing Kubernetes clusters and containerized application deployment. Building an in-house solution to handle their long list of requirements would have taken too much time.

Verizon isn’t alone. Many other service providers working on innovative technology solutions struggle to deliver next-gen Kubernetes capabilities like global visibility and control, full multi-tenancy, self-service capabilities, a zero-trust security architecture, highly automated cluster provisioning and lifecycle management – all with hard isolation boundaries between customers.

Rafay’s next-gen Kubernetes automation platform was designed to handle these challenges, so managed solution providers can focus on serving their customers instead.

Challenges in Telcos/MSPs Manually provisioning and managing clusters across different customer environments is taxing, time consuming, and introduces errors.
Rafay Lets You Easily automate the provisioning and lifecycle of every Kubernetes cluster you manage, on premise or in any public cloud.
Challenges in Telcos/MSPs Inconsistencies across clusters leads to snowflake configurations, reliability issues, and management nightmares.
Rafay Lets You Standardize and enforce a model for centrally managing Kubernetes environments with guardrails set by you.
Challenges in Telcos/MSPs Long delays happen when your customers have to wait for your operations teams to respond to their requests for resources.
Rafay Lets You Spin up environments with self-service processes that follow required policies and controls.
Challenges in Telcos/MSPs Costs rise when every customer is required to be separated from others, potentially necessitating their own environments.
Rafay Lets You Share resources efficiently across customers by enforcing controlled multi-tenant access, isolation, and even chargeback.
