AWS Workshop

The two greatest challenges enterprises face while solving for multi-tenancy in Kubernetes is:

  • Lack of developer self-service: Without namespace as a service capabilities, developers have to go through the typical and lengthy devops ticketing process.
  • Disparate Governance Controls: In order to enable governance controls in a shared cluster environment, platform teams need to integrate different open source tooling that can be difficult to integrate with an existing multi-tenancy mode

In this workshop, Amazon EKS users will streamline and simplify multi-tenancy though the management, automation and governance controls in the Rafay platform. By the end of the workshop you will walk away knowing how to:

  • Establish developer self-service
  • Enable different multi-tenancy constructs – fixed namespaces & namespace as a service
  • Onboard different development teams
  • Share a single cluster between developers/users while maintaining proper policies
  • Gain insight into developer access by monitoring Rafay’s continuous audit log
  • Fully automate multi-tenancy though Rafay’s CLI automation and/or GitOps
  • Enhance the developer experience with Rafay Backstage plugins

Please bring your own laptop for a hands-on, deep dive into multi-tenancy.Light breakfast and boxed lunch will be provided.
